Summary
Citrix Presentation Server licenses have been renamed to Citrix XenApp.
XenApp is the new name for Presentation Server, beginning with the XenApp 5 release. This new name is reflected in all product licenses, as well as all licensing-related pages and tools on the My Citrix Web site.
Additionally, the License Management Console (the optional license server user interface) displays XenApp as the product name for all XenApp and Presentation Server licenses.
Please note that licenses are not product release-specific, therefore all product licenses and Subscription Advantage renewal licenses appear as XenApp. The following products will include the XenApp license name:
• MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0
• Citrix Presentation Server 4.0
• Citrix Presentation Server 4.5
• Citrix XenApp 5.0
This name change does not affect the product or licensing operation/utilization; it is simply a name change. Existing and new product connection licenses will behave as expected and you do not need to perform any action as a result of the name change.
