Citrix is pleased to announce the release of EdgeSight 4.5 Server - Service Pack 1 (SP1)
The EdgeSight Server SP1 Software version 4.5.3259 is now generally available. Citrix recommends that all customers carefully review the readme contained in the SP1 download and start planning the upgrade. The attachment on this page contains the 4.5 Server software only and no update to the agent software. This service pack updates both the EdgeSight for Presentation Server and EdgeSight for Endpoints products.
This Service Pack contains the following EdgeSight Server fixes and enhancements:
• Addressed a faulty database query which could over-represent the list of EdgeSight for Presentation Server Agents reporting licensing violations.
• Addressed a potential issue with licensing which could lead to a corrupted License State Hash.
• Addressed a problem with false licensing breeches due to query filtering issues when retrieving license audit data.
• Addressed a problem concerning the distribution of agent configuration settings, such as License Server settings, from EdgeSight Server to Presentation Server agents.
• Addressed an error in the settings of the default Worker Configuration for Presentation Server Agents which could prevent agents from receiving configuration updates from the EdgeSight Server.
• Added the capability for EdgeSight Administrators to acknowledge and dismiss Licensing warnings in the console page header when EdgeSight for Presentation Server Agents report licensing violations.
• Enhanced the layout of and clarified the Licensing user interface.
• Changed the Allowed Violation Days value for Presentation Server Agents to allow 7 license violation days within the 30 day monitoring period. (Previously, only 5 violation days were allowed.)
• Enhanced the layout of and clarified the Worker Configuration user interface.
• Addressed a problem where changing the EdgeSight Server Console user’s regional settings to any date format other than US-English resulted in no data being displayed in the individual counter charts on the real-time Dashboard.
• Fixed the calculation of Active Time and Running Time data in the Most Used Processes for a Group report or processes which belong to more than one application category.
• Fixed alert rule text fields to accept special characters such as underscores.
• Fixed new instance notifications (email and the Devices link on the Messages page) so that the hyperlink reflects secure protocol (HTTPS) when SSL support is enabled.
• Added the capability to filter the list of company devices by user.
• Fixed a sorting issue in several Summary reports.
